All Clayton State University departments who collect or process special categories of sensitive personal data from the EU must obtain a signed affirmative consent before collecting or processing any special categories of sensitive personal data from the EU. Special categories of sensitive personal data are:

  • Racial or ethnic origin
  • Political opinions
  • Religious or philosophical beliefs
  • Trade union membership
  • Genetic, bio-metric data for the purposes of uniquely identifying a natural person
  • Health data
  • Data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation
